I saw that no one tabbed this song, probably because it is so easy to transcribe and play. But I
decided to tab it so all the other beginners don’t need to do it by themselves. Dave is awesome,
especially his old stuff. Tuning is standard – E-A-D-G-B-e (low to high)
E --- ----------------------------------------------------------------------- _____
B --- ----------------------------------------------------------------------
G --- -----------------------------------------------------------------------
D --- -------------------6---------------6---------------------6------------ / -----------part 1
A --- ----------------------6-----------------------4----------------------- /
E --- --4---------------------------------------------------------------4 _____/

G --- ----------------------------------------------------------------------
D --- -------------------6---------------6—6--------------6--6-------- / -----------part 2
A --- ----------------------6-----------------------4--------------------- /
E --- --4---------------------------------------------------------------4 _____/
Play part one and then go strait into part 2 and back and forth. If you want to, you can play part 1 for
the whole song, but I like to vary things so I followed with part 2 to make things a little fun. You can
also hear that he uses something like part 2 towards the end of the Crash version of the song and on
the Live at Red Rocks version. At about 6:15 on the Crash version, there is a second guitar that
switches between the Db and Ebmaj7 barre chords shown below. If these chords are new to you, you
must know that you use your ring finger (third) to cover the notes on the D, G, and B strings; and your
index finger (first) to cover the notes on the A and high E strings. If you are new at playing some
guitar, these chords will take time to master.
